Customer Technical Support Representative

We are seeking to grow our Customer Support team! We have an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Technical Support Representative to serve our fast-growing customer base. PrecisionCare’s corporate office is in New Paltz, New York.  This position can be remote for the right candidate.

PrecisionCare provides a complete Electronic Health Record (EHR) management software solution for Human Service providers located throughout New York state. Our streamlined documentation and compliance protection meets the changing needs of this dynamic industry. PrecisionCare improves agency operational performance by creating efficiencies and accuracy in documentation using our user-friendly, web-based software system.

The Customer Technical Support Representative is responsible for managing and tracking support tickets and solving issues generated from users of PrecisionCare. This involves frequent interaction with customers via phone and email to deliver quality support and service in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Receive, investigate, and respond to customer inquiries quickly and efficiently.
  • Document customer interaction and correspondence within each support ticket.
  • Distinguish between user error, bugs, and software enhancement requests.
  • Decide when to escalate support tickets to another level within the company.
  • Track open tickets that require follow-up and drive these items to resolution.
  • Troubleshoot over multiple platforms, devices, and browsers
  • Utilize products to provide support remotely

Qualifications and Skills

  • Two years of experience working in customer technical support/software support.
  • Previous experience with EHR or support software is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel) and knowledge of SQL a plus.
  • Must be a team player willing to multitask between various Customer Support Representative duties and other company assigned tasks.
  • Must have effective communication skills, be self-motivated and have the willingness to take on the challenges of our dynamic customer support team.
  • Must have exceptional follow-through skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent with a two- or four-year college degree a major plus

We are is seeking to grow our Account Management team! We have an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Account Manager to serve our fast growing customer base in the New York Metropolitan area. The assigned territory includes Westchester, Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island. The ideal candidate will live in the territory, and must be willing to travel within the territory on a regular basis, including overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Customer Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop strong relationships with customers within their assigned regional caseload, and help these customers to use PrecisionCare Software effectively. The goal of the Account Manager is to generate 100% customer satisfaction while expanding client usage, managing their expectations and ultimately creating good references. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and maintain existing contracts.
  • Plan and execute successful and complete implementation of PrecisionCare within assigned accounts.
  • Identify potential for and expand customer usage through ongoing review, trainings as well as gathering and analysis of their evolving needs.
  • Provide customized trainings and consultation at the customer site.
  • Coordinate between technical support, the development team and users to ensure all issues are resolved thoroughly and promptly.
  • Test new features and functions and alert and train customers on pending updates and changes.
  • Conduct monthly customer reviews and usage statistics to understand their ongoing needs and identify potential problems and plan for expansion.
  • Contribute to software design and development with in-depth knowledge of user needs tempered with regulatory restrictions and requirements.
  • Participation and coordination of regional user groups.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of two years of experience in Human Services licensed by New York State OPWDD/OMH is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Electronic Health Records experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Developing solutions and playing a major role in the coding and implementation of web and mobile applications.
  • Providing programming support for design, coding, testing, and documentation of necessary enhancements to PrecisionCare Software.
  • Work closely with the Development team in managing and completing projects and day-to-day development tasks.
  • Must be proactive in finding and debugging technical solutions.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize projects/issues by understanding critical issues.
