To learn more about the following changes we have made to our software, please log in to your PrecisionCare site and click on the information button located on the top right of your screen. If you need assistance, please contact your Account Manager.
HCBS and CFTSS Providers. OMH has released guidance that certain programs are eligible to have the Face-to-Face requirements waived. In lieu of Face-to-Face contact, providers may utilize telephonic or telehealth capabilities, as necessary. PrecisionCare has made changes to our software to accommodate this, by adding a new contact type of Telephonic/Video when creating a Billing Note. This will act just like Face-to-Face, allowing agencies to bill with this new type selected.
Behavioral Health Providers. We have added the GT modifier to the rate codes for Residential Behavioral Health providers. These modifiers will display when any of the encounters during the month have a contact type of Telephonic/Video.
Required modifiers for Telephonic/Video and Audio Only encounters will automatically be applied to billing reports.
ID/D Staff Action Plans will remain valid during the duration of the crisis and do not need to be updated. There are three options available on how this can be addressed in the system. PrecisionCare offers several options on how to manage this in your system. Please see Covid-19 updates on your site for details on each option or reach out to your Account Manager for assistance.
ID/D Telephonic/Video Service Delivery. Additional required information for Telephonic data collection,
have been completed and are available on all sites.
HCBS Waiver Services for ID/D Providers. Telephonic/Video as a contact type on data collection. This option will behave the same as Face-to-Face and onsite.
Day Services and Site-Based Prevocational Services. PrecisionCare has added an Absence Type of COVID-19 Closure and will appropriately track Retainer days and Units.
Community Prevocational Services. PrecisionCare has added an Absence Type of COVID-19 Closure and will appropriately track Retainer days and Units.
PrecisionCare offers Medical Event Tracking that may be very useful during this time. Medical Event Tracking can be used for tracking temperature, O2, bowel movements, etc. Please contact your Account Manager if you would like assistance in setting this up for your agency.
In accordance with of the OPWDD guidance documents (August 24, 2020, Interim Post Day Service Retainer Program Guidance) PrecisionCare has made changes to the Day Hab and Site-Based Prevocational billing report to meet the updated requirements for Full and Half Day billing. These changes will reduce the requirements for billing to:
Full Day = 2 hours attendance and 2 unique services, (data points for 2 different goals)
Half Day = 1-1:59 hour attendance and 1 service delivery (1 data point)
Checks across multiple services at the same agency to insure a maximum of one full unit billed per day will continue. These changes will be applied to billing 7/22/20 to 10/14/20.
